Gifts of Joy is a 100% volunteer-run organization dedicated to bringing joy, hope, and encouragement to families facing the challenges of cancer. Through the generosity and compassion of our incredible volunteers, we provide meaningful support that makes a lasting impact.
We are deeply grateful for every helping hand that selflessly gives to brighten lives and lift spirits. Together, we bring hope when it’s needed most.
Our History
In 2018, Gifts of Joy began with a group of friends in Temecula who wanted to teach our children the joy of giving. After establishing a connection with an oncology department at a local pediatric hospital, we started a small toy drive and took our own children shopping, collected other toys and monetary donations from friends and family, and wrapped and delivered them — and it all took off from there! Since then, Gifts of Joy has expanded from delivering to one oncology unit in 2018 to 11 hospitals units in Southern California. In 2022, a Gifts of Joy chapter in Tennessee launched, serving three more hospitals! Gifts of Joy now offers gifts, encouragement boxes, and valuable resources year-round! No matter the season, we’re here to bring hope, comfort, and support to families facing cancer. Hospitals have now come to depend on our initiatives and toy deliveries and are always excited to pass them out to children and their families!
Our Mission
Gifts of Joy is committed to bringing hope and comfort to children battling cancer and their families. Through community-driven initiatives, including toy drives, inspiring resources, care packages, and hospital support programs, we strive to deliver moments of joy, encouragement, and hope. Our mission is to uplift spirits, ease burdens, and remind every patient and family that they are seen, loved, and never alone in their journey.
